How does this piss me off?! I hate it! [Survey]

What do you dislike most about games, what irritates you, what makes your cheekbones cringe?? In the old, in the new, small particular and downright fundamental problems. Various nasty things thrown in by game designers, gaming conventions that you don’t want to accept, unpleasant trends in games.

And what’s also terribly infuriating is the transition to online of everything that is possible and impossible. Why, when entering the main menu, should I get the impression that I didn’t come here to play, but ended up on a social network?. And it would be nice if this was only in specially tailored online games, but they shove it everywhere.

Nothing bothers me. I am the concentration of qi energy. I float on the cloud of my impenetrable calm above all the holivars, squabbles and disputes. I was in the midst of a holiwar among fallout fans about Fallout 3, immediately after its release, on the side of the classic Fall fans, I came to peace with myself during these wars. After all this, squabbles on the topic “BF3 vs MW3” are for me a weak breeze blowing across the granite of my unshakable calm. All this, as well as 42 years spent in a Tibetan monastery, taught me to get only pleasure from the game, taking for granted and not wasting my nerves everything that could irritate the game. I wish the same for you, my friends. Peace be with you! :3

I have always been terribly irritated by restrictions, insurmountable fences, rubbish heaps, some of which in real life, not only can you cross, you can jump over. for example, in Crysis 2 I was simply amazed that in 2011 a trained soldier in an ultra hyper mega cool suit could not climb over a pile of garbage no worse than the seasonal trenches of public utilities. And he can’t climb over the fence. And falls from the stairs. I tried several times before I understood. Alcatraz doesn’t climb stairs. And he can’t knock down plywood doors, and he can’t climb out of a hole in the roof (jump, grab onto, pull himself up. We need to look for the only way out. Oh, I was angry then, angry.

And I don’t like it when game heroes barely run around. And when they run out of steam instantly. No, I understand, they have weapons and all that, but we’re playing a game.

PS
Author, you didn’t https://goldenmistercasino.uk/mobile-app/ mix up the picture for the topic? The one that is quite small, like an avatar. She seems to be for someone else, no?
Please re-read your next topic before publishing, otherwise such a number of typos spoils the impression a little.

Oh, and you also have a typo in your comment 😀 I’ll subtract the next poll (if there is one). But this one simply couldn’t be corrected – it would have been necessary to enter the answer lines again, and all the previous voting would have been lost. I left it as is.

Yes, I got it mixed up. Well, it’s okay, there is another one that will also work well.

Casuality, stamping, restrictions on moving around the level, and at the same time scripts. But only those that are absolutely illogical. I also don’t like corridors… Well, at the same time there are bugs and situations like Mafia 2 on PS3 and Rage on PC. Well, in general, I don’t like it when the game is really hacky and unfinished.

I agree. I just incorrectly expressed my thought: not just going online, but adding all sorts of “caps”, etc. n. things. This is completely killing the game. We played CS at the expense of its gameplay, or CoD 4 at the expense of it, and somehow lived without this tinsel.

ok, thank you for skipping the Russian language))

1: “lizhby” kagbe is correctly written as “if only”
2: and “kagbe” is written “as if”
3: and “is written” is written “is written”

I vote for “Inflated complexity, wrapped in a candy wrapper of pure sadism, crooked controls, a crazy, willful camera, and other technical shortcomings. Let someone else eat this candy." T.To. I remember how the Prince of Persia passed through the forgotten sands, there it was necessary to freeze the water in time, then jump away from it in time, defrost the water, and so on 5 times >_< это был чистый садизм и если там были уровни сложности( а там они вроде были) я играл ещё на лёгком уровне сложности, знакомство с серией выдалось неудачно, но первые 3 части оказались на мой взгляд шедевральны по сравнению с этим ужасом с заморозкой и разморозкой воды >_

First and last point. While I was reading the first one, I immediately remembered the first Deus, during the passage of which I gasped and groaned from the absence of this point.

I read this survey and was reminded of Deus Ex HR. I remember the first time I decided to test the “jumping ability” of high fences. I dug up a stack of boxes and barrels, stacked them, climbed in and was very surprised to get a positive result.
In general, DE is almost the standard for modern games. Because there is not a single negative from this survey!

The first one pisses me off. I remember when in the first hallows of death I came to some stones that I could step over, and then walked around them for half an hour

I can’t say I would choose just one. Any of the points causes gameplay discomfort (maybe except the first). In principle, many points are interconnected. The creative impotence of developers in most cases leads to completely scripted, linear, monotonous corridor games for several hours. The inability to think through the interface and controls has been wildly infuriating since the days of consoles. Although, now, due to the “rendering” of everything, the entire interface is 2 buttons. The absence of an intelligent screenwriter or writer on the development team leads to the most boring/stupid plot. So it’s difficult to single out one point.

Definitely casual, the game should be interesting, matched with small goodies that influence and create a unique world and atmosphere..
